For the first time a few months ago, I saw a production at Mixed Blood Theatre, an intimate setting inside an old building at 1501 South 4th Street in Minneapolis near the U of M campus.  It's a great way to see up-and-coming talent at super-cheap ticket prices.

Franken, Energy Dept. Official Tour U of M Wind Research Station

Sen. Al Franken will be touring the University of Minnesota wind energy research station today.

The station, located at UMore Park in Rosemount, includes a 2.5 megawatt wind turbine and 426-foot meteorological research tower. The purpose of the consortium is to create new educational initiatives and research projects that develop wind power technology.

WEB FORECAST: Light Snowfall Should End Before Evening Commute

A light snowfall will last into the afternoon, but should end before the Friday evening commute.
